"This man has traveled beyond infinity. I'm not even joking... this is Keir Dullea, who played the part of Dave Bowman in Stanley Kubrick's "2001: A Space Odyssey". I also remember him in another mythic scene, the moment when he switches off Hal 9000. With those images in my head, I met up with Keir, on a sunny Saturday afternoon, on the rooftop of the Palais des Festivals. He was at the Cannes Festival to present a remastered version of the film. I managed to get this picture in between 2 interviews: a lovely souvenir of a magical moment."
