"This was taken in Paris in the wonderful, cosy Hotel Edouard VI, where I took my wife for our 1st wedding anniversary. 92 steps up this elegant stairway and we reached the 5th floor. Along the snug corridor was our small but perfectly formed room with a balcony, where we spent many a moment in our own little world, watching the people of Montparnasse go by.

The combo used is a bit of a classic for me and one of the pairings that first made me fall in love with Hipstamatic. I really love the warm analogue feel this combo, reminds me of album after album of childhood photographs my parents have. I’d say it’s probably my most used day to day combo – the perfect balance between analogue warmth and clarity of image.

So, if you’re ever in the Montparnasse area I can recommend the perfect Parisian hotel to get your head down for the night; Hotel Edouard VI, floor 5, room 56 - 92 steps up."
