"Whenever I photograph a sporting event for the San Francisco Chronicle, I always spend a chunk of time before the contest looking for something to photograph with my iPhone. This image was taken before Game 5 of the NBA Western Conference Finals, between the Golden State Warriors and the Oklahoma City Thunder. As I was headed to my court side position, I noticed the Thunder coming out of their locker room to gather for a huddle, before heading out for the tip off. The Thunder's Serge Ibaka was one of the first to come out and I photographed him stretching against a wall in the bowels of Oracle Arena. These behind the scenes images are my favorite ones to capture at a game."
