"Passing fields every day when driving to and from work provides me with momentsfor daily reflecetion on the progress of the year and of the four seasons.  Nowadays, at the end of the summer period, the typical picture I see is one of yellow circles of straw bales among a background of green corn fields.  There was no doubt about using the John S lens becuse of the harsh, contrasting colours it provides (greens most of all), as well as the Robusta film, my favourite, especially when paired with the John S lens.  "
