"Gold Rush"

"I worked my first San Francisco 49ers game as a San Francisco Chronicle staff photographer on Sunday, August 17th. The pre-season game against the Denver Broncos was also the first appearance the 49ers made in Levi's Stadium, their brand new home in Santa Clara. During the 1st half time-out, the members of Gold Rush, the team's cheerleading squad, did their routine right in front of me in the end zone. I snapped a couple of iPhone images.
As I looked at the photos during the next break in the action, I noticed one frame where it appeared that the hair of two of the cheerleaders was connected. A total fluke, but I will take credit for it. I enjoy serendipitous, optical illusions like this."
