"My husband nicked himself shaving his head just before we were supposed to go out for the night. The only band-aid plasters we could find happened to be some silly ones I'd purchased just for fun one day. I felt that given the nature of the cut, and how he looked afterwards, it seemed appropriate to use that particular one. I used the Watts Lens, which always adds more contrast and over-saturates the image, and the DC Film, which highlights the mid-tones making it even more vibrant. This combination creates a bold, colourful and dramatic photograph that jumps out of the screen. "
