"Living in New Zealand you're never far from the coast. It's almost impossible to travel in any direction in the North Island without coming across a view of the Pacific Ocean. We are the most isolated country from our neighbours than any other country in the world.
The Maori word is 'Aotearoa' - Land of the Long White Cloud. New Zealand is the land that sits in the meeting point of the sky and the sea. Our colours are greens, blues combined with earthy tones but vibrant under the harsh Pacific sun. With Hipstamatic perceptions of colour and tone are changed. It changes the way I look at my home, reconsidering the country I live in.
Travel is also an important part of my life. I enjoy exploring the photographic opportunities offered by the unique elements of other parts of the world. I'm often surprised - and I like that."
