"I was a Nokia person all my life, but Hipstamatic changed everything. It is digital with an analogue heart. I love the way you can always find the right combo not just for your subject, but for the feeling or the mood of the moment. And then there is the wonderful random mode, for when you're stuck or just cannot choose. The Lomography rule says 'don't think, just shoot'… Well, here it's 'don't think, just shake' and it's so much fun.

They say that home is where the heart is, and in that sense my home is Hong Kong. It so happened that my film photography obsession started with Lomography Diana F+, a bag of medium-format film and my first time in Asia. Thus was the beginning of a love affair which goes on and on, and this year I've revisited Hong Kong with just my iPhone and Hipstamatic. I used Loftus + DC combo to catch the vibrant colours and style of the city, and also Uchitel 20 film for a retro mood. I also did some shakin' with very unexpected and exciting results!"
