"I consider myself an eclectic photographer, but I have been drawn to street portrait photography since studying with Lisette Model. I also find this genre challenging because it mostly involves strangers. My aim is for the photograph to evoke for the viewer a story about the subject. Fortunately for me, Venice is a continuing rich, diverse canvas of street life. "
