"Road movie along the Route Nationale 1 in the South of Algeria. It is the country’s North/South backbone. The Route Nationale 1, aka the Transsaharan, stretches for 2335 kilometers and connects Algeria to the Nigerian border.
This was an adventure along 1330 kilometers of road and Sahara landscapes, between the city of Ghardaia in the Mzab region and Tamanrasset, the gateway to black Africa, which has been closed to Western tourists since 2010."
