"Being a city dweller, I tend to be most interested in people, and even when I travel, I choose to visit huge cities. I like dense, crude light that produces deep shadows. I love B&W photography so as to focus on the person and the shadows without dispersing the gaze. The result is often also more timeless.
I mainly use BlacKeys Supergrain with John S, Lowy or Akira, depending on the type of texture I want, the level of contrast and, whether I want a natural vignette or not. These pictures were taken in Arles, Nice, Venice, Singapore and Bali."

"I love black-and-white photography. B/W brings the best out of the portrayed objects simply through reducing to the max. There are no colors to distract while the structures are likewise intensified and accentuated. Thanks to the strong vignette of the John S Lens and the granulated darkness of the BlacKeys Supergrain Film this combo is highly recommendable for pictures with their object in the center and which aim for a dramatic look. Since the combo does not leave any wishes unfulfilled already I prefer to use it in the Classic Mode."

"I'd been wanting to visit Iran since I was a child. I had a beloved uncle who lived there for many years and his Persian stories fired my imagination at a young age. Finally, in November 2016, I had the oppurtunity of organising a trip so I spent 2 weeks visiting a few of the main sites and cities.
I found Iran even more beautiful and fascinating that I expected, and its people to be the kindest, most charming and welcoming of any country I've ever visited. Now all I think of is going back… "

"This is a series of pictures I took in January 2017, mainly in and around Nice. I love taking pictures without really thinking about anything in particular,  reconnecting with my inner child and allowing myself to play again. I never have a premeditated plan; I like to just amble around and observe the people. There's magic in every single instance. I love the tarmac, the urban markings, the shadows and the clouds. There's poetry in everything!"

"Terrorism and the likes have kept tourists away from Algeria, including its deserts. Considered to be the Pearl of Tassili N'Ajjer, the desert of Tadrart is located about 200 km from Djanet and is part of the most beautiful desert in the world, the Central Sahara. Huge sculptural canyons with rocky peaks created by the effects of water, wind and extreme temperatures, seamlessly mix with colorful dunes. Traces of cave paintings and engravings prove that a human presence, stretching back as far as 12.000 years, lived in a bush land that gradually became a desert, characterized by its diversity and beauty."
