It’s no longer a secret that Hipstamatic is working on an important new update. Up until now, there has been no mention of a release date or any other information on the 300-version. Personally, I’m eagerly waiting for the option of manually adjusting the exposure, as is already the case with Oggl. And while we’re at it, I’m also asking Santa for focus control, tweaking of the white balance and being able to adjust the ISO sensitivity… a self-timer would be the cherry on the cake ;-)
In the meantime, a new update, the 279, is available as of today. Apart from a few adjustments to accommodate iOS8, the only update is that it’s now possible to change the orientation of certain pictures. Not a total revolution, but a rather practical little novelty.
Certain images did sometimes undergo a 45-degree rotation depending on whether the iPhone was pointing up or down. This new update has a new button that allows you to rotate the image by 45 degrees and you can apply it 2 or 3 times.
