Hipstography Awards 2014: End of Submissions

Here we go - the submissions for the 2014 Awards have come to a close. More than 250 portfolios and combos were sent in over the course of the past month and I would like to thank everybody for the beautiful and creative pictures sent to us. There are just about two weeks left until the end of this year, so I hope you will agree that it will be impossible for me to publish all the pictures that were sent in, although I hope to be able to publish another 10 combos and a few portfolios before December 31st.

However, most of the submitted series will be added to the combos and portfolios that were published from January 1st and December 31st for the following stage of the Hipstography Awards 2014: the Nominations.

As of January, the jury will be studying the entirety of all articles published in 2014, as well as some of the submitted series, so as to end up with 10 per category, such as "Photo of the Day" (Landscape of the Year, Living Moments of the Year, Street Photography of the Year), but also the combos (Monochrome Combo of the Year, Color Combo of the Year) and the portfolios (Color Portfolio of the Year, Creative Portfolio of the Year).

This initial selection will be handed over to you, the readers, around January 20th. These results will then be added to the jury’s second round of votes, and this will lead to the selection of one winner in each category. The actual Hipstography Awards 2014 ceremony is set to take place at the beginning of February. I’m sure you can guess that the competition is fierce! May the best win!
