When I discovered Dani Salvadori's photos, I totally fell in love. These are the photos she took while traveling through California and Nevada that I have published in the "Combos" section. Combo #206 highlights the Rock BW-11 film and one of Hipstamatic's black sheep, the devilish Bettie XL.

The Bettie Lens adds impurities to the photographs and these imperfections are not always appreciated. In certain circumstances, however, the result can be beautiful. Such is the case with Dani's photos; they hark back to an America of times gone by.

There are lenses that "dirty" the photos... As Tom Choinski mentioned in his portfolio "Dirty Plates", certain films also have that "contaminated" effect, more specifically C-Type and D-Type Plate.

All this is to let you know that I have added another category in the "Combos" section. Welcome to "True Grit".
