"These photos were taken a year ago. It was Belarus Independence Day, the 3rd of July 2012. We decided to go for a walk along the central streets of the city with my wife and daughter. It was beautiful sunny day, lot of people on the streets and a holiday atmosphere. My choice of combo was virtually random as it was only the second time I had used Hipstamatic. After this photo walk I decided to make Hipstamatic my primary camera.

Over the year I took a lot of photos of Minsk - streets, architecture, people and some scenes from city life. And I tried a lot of combos - colour and black/white. A few days ago I published a photo book of "Black and White Minsk. Hipstamatic Combo Book" featuring just the black and white photos, taken using various combos."
