"The Atomium is a fixture in many Belgians' lives. It was constructed in 1958, for the Universal Exhibition and represents the unit cell of an iron crystal, magnified 165 million times. School trips often led there... I went quite a few times when I was a child, long before the renovations took place. These started in March 2004 and the job was finished in February 2006. Even though I live in Brussels, I never went back. On a beautiful autumn afternoon, having gotten some time off work, I decided to go and take a look. I chose the combo Loftus - Ina's 1935, as Loftus makes everything a little blurry and has a specific colour rendition that works really well with Ina's1935's edge. In my opinion, the photos highlight this nostalgic, yet thoroughly modern symbol of Brussels. ."
