"John S was my first big Hipstamatic love affair and that was the lens I used, for a very long time. But with the growing selection of lenses and films, it was pushed a little bit into the background for me. During a visit to the Museum of Technology in Berlin, I wanted to bring it back into use. I soon discovered that it teams up perfectly with the new Rasputin film. The lighting in the museum was not the best, so I was amazed how wonderful the pictures came out. With it´s dark vignette, the John S lens puts the subject into focus and the Rasputin film supports this with sharp, clear contrasts. Another wonderful effect are the colors: the green tone of the John S lens blends nicely with the warm, red tone of the Rasputin film and so I have, once again, a new fabulous favorite combo."
