"The initial idea was to create a set of photos with a vintage feel, somehow resembling old forgotten, yellowed postcards. For this experiment, I headed to various archaeological sites in Athens, such as the Ancient Agora, the Acropolis and the Olympieion, which all boast impressive ruins of ancient monumental architecture. The Sussex Film gives a slightly stale look (although not as intense as Shilshole Film), which is persuasive enough for this purpose. The random leaks of light, generously offered by the Eric lens, are ideal for the desired effect: the feeling that these photos were taken a long time ago using old-fashioned, analog equipment. Laser Lemon Gel adds yellow shades, totally matching the overall style. The final result can be said to reflect the aesthetics of a bygone era."
