"The Tejas lens is part of the SXSW pak, which is named after the South by Southwest Conferences & Festivals, a cinema, music and technology fair held in Austin, Texas. Its main features are strong vignettes, warm colours with a grey/red cast, slightly underexposed. It increases the subject’s red hues.
Blanko Freedom 13 is part of the America Hipsta Pak. It’s the only frame-free film (it is recognizable by three little red, white and green stripes on the bottom right). It’s a completely neutral film, with no grain or vignetting/colour cast.
These two components together create high-impact pictures with warm and vaguely vintage tones. It’s the ideal combo for empty landscapes with sea and clouds in the distance. It is excellent with Cadet Blue Gel, Laser Lemon Gel and particularly Red Eye Gel flash (all in no led mode). If used with Dreampop flash, it gives an almost dreamy effect."
