"Postcards from Greece"

"During the summer, I like to visit humble villages around Greece and mingle with the locals, who are friendly and ready to open their houses and give you a treat. So, inevitably, I came across scenes of everyday life that, aside from any hidden nostalgia of years gone by, ooze pure cult tradition. I discovered their world, which is colorful and bright like the folk patterns and flowers, the essential elements of their unvarnished home decoration. I stumbled on forgotten customs and habits regarding all aspects of country living, involving religion, cooking, decoration, gardening, and fishing; all the elements of time travel to a laid-back forgotten era. Something that pleases me and reminds me of childhood carelessness. So the choice for the components of my new combo, in order to capture this mood, was easily made.
Eric, apart from being a dear friend (big smile), is a cheerful and flexible lens that surprises me every time I shake my phone. The Polina film gives the pictures a glow of old postcards and adds to the naivety. The Tasty Pop flash balances and enhances everything, thus creating a combo of nostalgic saturation with a touch of ethnic folklore, that makes this series "as Greek as it gets". Join me and discover another aspect of my homeland."
