"I like to photograph everything that is on the edge, what we see every day, but that the mainstream media hide from our eyes. Discomfort, old age, suburbs, all filtered by my eye and my sensitivity. My favourite street photography is the 'Candid', harder to shoot but spontaneous. Creating a frame in a fraction of a second is a big risk, but sometimes the result leaves me speechless. Did I really take this photo? I like Hipstamatic and often use the combo John S Lens with BlacKeys SuperGrain Film. I think this combination creates the right mood for my shots."
