"To me, photography is my very best way of establishing a world, a world feature the element of surprise, unexpected juxtapositions and non sequitur but while still remaining so familiar. My works always have a narrative cinematic style, or a story that have no beginning or end. I elaborately puts my stage in everyday scenes but with charged, surreal moods that hint at the longings and malaise of the space we live in. But meanwhile, I love to have my works beautifully layered with pieces of fantasy, poetics and romance.

Life is a stage and everyday is a different show, using Hipstamatic allows me to freeze the moment and turn it into an art piece. Combo setting is more of a mood setting before I start and it feels like going back to the golden yesterday when people choose camera and films before shooting. Fulfilling a modern nostalgia would be a very fit word for me when using Hipstamatic."
