"I've been a professional designer, photographer and artist since 1992. I was focused on perfect photography, perfect lenses, perfect camera, etc. I spent thousands of dollars on camera equipment, but when the Hipstamatic Camera App came out, I discovered the perfect imperfection. Not every shot has to be razor sharp, perfectly lit, or have perfect color balance to be a great shot.

I started loving the "moment" and seeing what I could capture. I soon found out that the Hipstamatic Camera App gave me such incredible freedom with such great limitations. I still shoot with all my DSLR gear for professional work, but I shoot entirely with the Hipstamtic Camera App for everything else.

'Over Coffee' is a small collection of shots I've taken that surrounds me most everyday. Shooting with the iPhone allows me to get in close and unnoticed and yes, sometimes I wish I had my DSLR to take some of the shots, but then, it wouldn't be perfect."

Allan, this series is absolutely fantastic!!! They capture the essence of what the atmosphere inside a coffee house is like. A place to relax, a place to meet up with old or new friends, a place to get away from it all. I love these photos!!
My favorite film is also BlacKeys Supergrain!
