"This image was taken on Saturday Jan 3, 2015, on Queen street West in Toronto. I decided to go out for a photo walk, to test the new Toronto HipstaPak. I had forgotten to check the weather and so wasn't counting on the snow when I got down there. It was coming down in buckets!
But it added a lot of fun to the photo walk, which quickly became a photo dash. Each time I stopped to take a shot my phone got covered in fluffy dry snow making it tricky, at times, to see what I was taking pictures of.
This is the streetcar I was waiting for but, when it arrived at University Ave, it was already packed. So I stepped back and decided to wait for the next one. I was able to get this shot while the car finished loading. I wanted to pick up some of the red of the streetcar itself, so I switched from the Queen West film to Blanko BL4. I like the muted way in which it represents colors. And in this case, it worked just as I'd hoped. :)"
