"Wintertime in Los Angeles often means spectacular sunsets, especially at the beach. Combine that with low tide, and it's perfect for capturing awesome bursts of color reflected in wet sand. On this particular day, a homeless man was standing in the shallow water at Venice Pier, totally mesmerized by the magnificence of the close of day. I call the piece Supertramp."
