"We got our first snow last night. Although I am no fan of winter, it is always amazing to awake and discover the landscape completely transformed in the morning. Enticed by the scenery, I went for a short drive (as much as time would permit) and took this photo. Living in an open and flat landscape, naked branches against the white snow and an overcast winter sky is about as dramatic as the scenery gets here."
