"Merging and Emerging"

"I loved how the trees were silhouetted against the backdrop of the very dense fog on this particular morning, accentuating their bare-branched beauty. As I was standing in stillness taking photos of the trees, I was also struck by how the people appeared as if from nowhere, and then disappeared into the white shroud.
I was touched by the juxtaposition of the ancient trees, standing as they have for decades, with the transience of the people merging and emerging, as it reminded me of how brief and precious our time here is."
