"This photo is a reminder of how much my partner and I love to travel. For us, the whole process is delightful: packing before we hit the road, pit stops, laughs, detours, discoveries, some language on the radio that we don't understand, photos... on the road we live more simply, only with the possessions we can carry and, we are surrounded by new and unexpected opportunities. This sounds cliché but road trips for me are about the journey, an opportunity to leave behind all our certainties, to be receptive and create new memories.
I like the desaturation of the colors on Blanko C16, but this combo was chosen to participate in the groups Buenos Aires Hipsta-images and Hipstamatic Slovenia. A friend said the photo reminds her of the film 'Another Earth' which I haven't seen yet, but I liked the title as a metaphor for travelling from the familiar to the unfamiliar."
