"Tin Wan is in Aberdeen, an area on the south side of Hong Kong island. Aberdeen harbour is one of nine harbours in Hong Kong and is used as a typhoon shelter and a parking spot for fishing vessels. The small boat on the right is called a 'sampan' – these small, privately owned boats are used as a means of getting to and from some of the outlying islands around Hong Kong."
