"If you're familiar with the expression making lemonade out of lemons, this started as a great day but the weather fizzled by the time I'd walked to Brooklyn Heights: the sun dissipated and the sky went flat, so I turned on portraiture lock, went to a tilt shift lens for an ethereal effect and I thought the round frame of GS-0 would add to that. First shot was horizontal then I flipped the phone 180° and took the second shot, using the pilings in the water as my frame of reference for multiple composition."
