"Sci-Fi Underground"
"Taking macro photos can sometimes be quite a challenge. For this one I had to go 'underground'. While I was shooting plants on the forest floor, I noticed a hole in the ground, with an opening that was no bigger than a human fist. I couldn’t see how deep it was, but probably about 10 cm in diameter. Towards the inside there was a thin, almost invisible spider web, covered with tiny water drops.
When I am not sure how the photos will turn out in certain situations, I shoot with Oggl. In the past I was often disappointed when I chose the wrong Hipstamatic Classic combination but, by then, it was too late to correct the mistake. So I stuck my iPhone with Olloclip upside down in the hole, not knowing what I would get.
Some say that Oggl is not so good for macros, but it turned out to be perfect for this sci-fi shot. It really surprised me how clear and sharp the image was. For this 'hole situation' with poor light, the most appropriate combination was Hannah lens and Rijks film. And... my only wish is that I could rotate images in Oggl."
