"Matt is the most mysterious man on Instagram - and I think he likes it that way. You can see from his work that he's completely embedded in his environment in a way that lesser street photographers can't achieve. His photos are both bold and sensitive and each subject is treated with the respect of his adopted culture. Matt has also been a godfather to dozens of Hipstamatic users on Instagram through @mxgxpxchallenge, which launched me into urban photography in a big way. I owe a creative and artistic debt to Matt, and I'm thrilled to share his work with the world at large."
