"Rene Magritte is, hands down, the most inspiring artist for me personally. He has influenced my writing, photography, and even how I live my life, like no other person, let alone artist.
There is a mirror at Bayview Station in Toronto that cuts my head off every time I pass it. A guillotine like this is impossible to bypass and, as such, I have taken several photos of it as my backdrop. For this photo, I used Lowy/BlacKeys Extra Fine and Multiple-Exposure. The second shot consisted of a wall with black perpendicular and parallel lines, with the bright-white being the predominant colour in the second exposure, e.g. the smokey feel.
I wasn't satisfied with the first development so I attempted to duplicate the photograph in Oggl by uploading it and applying the same lens and film to the original. This is the result."
