"I've been a keen photographer for the past 2 years and especially love taking photos while one my travels. Vietnam was the first place I've travelled to where I used Hipstamstic and it was my "trial run" for using a mobile phone for travel shots. It's definately changed the way I will approach travel photography in the future; although you can't match the quality of using a DSLR, I would never have gotten some of the shots I did using a bigger, bulkier camera. Using Hipstamatic helps give you discretion while taking shots and some of my best shots were taken using the app. It's light and convenient and I like not having 100% total control of the final image as with certain films/lenses you can't tell exactly how your shot will turn out.

I found that the Roboto Glitter/Ina's 1969 combo worked well in Vietnam, especially in the places with more natural surroundings (these shots were taken in Hanoi, Halong Bay and Sapa). The lighting in Sapa was magnificent, and the burst of light that comes out from the centre of the Roboto Glitter film really complemented the sun's rays streaking through the clouds. The blue/green tones worked well in the natural setting too."
