Combo #436 (Millo Salgado)

Lens:  Florence
Film:  Ina's 1935
Exposure: +0.2 • Clarity: 25 • Definition: 31 • Highlights: -37 • Shadows: +35 • Vibrancy: -16 • Fade: 10 • Film Grain: 14 • Vignette: 15

"A couple of years ago I used Florence with Ina's film at the beach and then forgot about it, because I didn't like the way the dark colors appeared. But this year, I used it again in the streets of my city, using all the possibilities of the new Hipstamatic and I love the results. The clarity and definition tools improve the lens so much for street photography, especially for shadows and dark tones. It is a fantastic lens for the sunny conditions but so different from my beloved John S."
Millo Salgado

Combo #446 (Deep Ghosh)

Lens:  Murray (50)
Film:  Uchitel 20
Flash:  Standard
Exposure: -0.2 • Clarity: 25 • Definition: 32 • Highlights: -36 • Texture: 60 • vignette: 50

"This series is a collection of moments from my trips around the suburbs of Kolkata, and in some parts of rural Bengal, where I travel often for concerts. I wanted to create a raw monochrome palette, that is reminiscent of interior Bengal - once outside the city, the world looks, smells and feels different. The monochrome allowed me to concentrate on the nature of the terrain and its people, without getting distracted by the overpowering sense of colour we were immersed in. This series is a tribute to the passion of black and white narrative."
Deep Ghosh

Combo #461 (Angelique Marchanda-Peres)

Lens:  Madalena
Film:  Love 81
Flash:  Triple Crown

"Madalena weds Love 81 in Bangalore, India."

"I have always liked how Madalena works in bright sunshine, so I was curious to try it out in India where there's sunshine 365 days of the year... well, almost. Anyway, the lens didn't disappoint and I was pleased to see how it coaxed the image to brighten its pinks, reds, blues and greens while at the same time, draping it in a gossamer haze of violet. I paired it with Love 81 because the film is gritty and grainy, just like India!"
Angelique Manchanda-Peres

Combo #466 (Julia Nathanson)

Lens:  Diego
Film:  Love 81 (74%)
Exposure: -0.2 • Clarity: 68 • Definition: 32 • Highlights: -44 • Vibrancy: +41 • RGB: modified • Temperature: 5450 • Texture: 19
