The Oakland HipstaPak

By on December 5, 2014

Hipstamatic spent the month of November in London and the last month of 2014 will be spent back in the good ol’ USA, more precisely in Oakland, California. Oakland is located on the West Coast, in the San Francisco Bay Area. The Oakland HipstaPak consists of a lens, called Jack London and a film, Telegraph.

Jack London was a writer born on January 12, 1876 in San Francisco, whose main leitmotivs were adventure and the great outdoors. He wrote more than 50 works , the most famous being "The Call of the Wild". The last lens to be released in 2014 proudly carries his name and will brighten your images while punching up the saturation in the midtones and adding a cool blue light to the scene.

Telegraph Avenue is one of Oakland’s long and wide boulevards, and as of today, also a film in the Hipstamatic catalogue. There is no border and it reduces the saturation of the Jack London lens.

As per usual, the pak is free for Oggl users and available for 0.99$ (0,89 euros) for Hipstamatic Classic users.

The Hipstography Awards 2014 will be taking pace in January and you have precisely 5 days left to submit your portfolios and combos. The Hipstamatic catalogue now sports about a hundred-odd elements… This might be the perfect opportunity to test out the new Pak! Now, go outside and play!
