Spotlight on John S

After a hectic start to the new year, Hipstography is taking a little break for a week… mainly because the next few months look rather prolific too! We’re preparing a new exhibition dedicated to another of the Hipstamatic elements. After focusing on Madalena, we’re now going to dig deeper into, what is possibly, the catalogue’s favorite lens: the indispensible John S.

As we did for Madalena, we’re now on the hunt for series taken with the John S lens. They can be older pictures but, of course, nothing’s stopping you from trying it out with one of the newer films. Your choice… We’ll need about 30 pictures before mid-April, if possible. If you happen to have a series, or feel like creating one for the occasion, send us your link via the Contact Page on the site.

While we’re at it, we have some bad news about said Contact Page… We just noticed that there’s a bug, which has been messing with the code, since February! This means that we have missed A LOT of messages since then. Our sincerest apologies for this but, if you want, you can certainly go ahead and re-send those. Thanks in advance!
