The Venice HipstaPak

By on February 4, 2017

After Colorado in January, Hipstamatic is taking us to Venice, California. Venice is located on the Pacific coast, west of Los Angeles, and it is the ultimate symbol of American extravagance. It is, among other things, the birthplace of the hippy movement, California surf culture and hundreds of artistic movements. Historically speaking, Venice was founded in 1905 by the millionaire Abbot Kinney, who was enamored with Venice in Italy. He decided to recreate its canals, which sadly haven’t survived.

The Venice HipstaPak comes with a lens, called Gje Gje (pronounced Gigi), and a film, named Abbot. These are the only details we received as of yet, Hipstamatic hasn’t sent us anything yet…

Meanwhile, on our side of the pond, we’re a bit submerged in the preparations for tonight’s festivities… The statuettes have arrived, the red carpet has been rolled out for the occasion, the champagne is being chilled and in fewer than 24 hours, we’ll know who the winners in the 2016 Hipstography Awards are. We’ll be providing more information about this pak after the party ;-)
