The release of the Tintype SnapPak has without doubt greatly boosted interest in Hipstamatic.

The photos taken with the Tinto 1848 lens and the two films (D & C-Type Plate) are genuinely ground-breaking and this is only the beginning... It goes without saying that it will take time to explore the other possible combinations.

Egmont van Dyck has written two extremely useful studies of the components of this pak, which we strongly recommend. The first article covers the films and the second the Tinto 1884 lens. Both are not to be missed!
