"The GSQUAD and Blanko Freedom13 combo has become one of my favorites for night time with its vibrant colours and clean lines. But in this particular situation, a fire in a building, there were surprising results. The smoke from the fire created a halo effect around the lights and a ghostly haze. The smoke appeared as grainy shades of grey to brown to black. The flashing, rotating red and blue lights from the emergency vehicles reduced the scene to primary colours. The water spraying from the two ladders lit up like search lights. The snapshots did not look like any I had taken before with GSQUAD and Blanko Freedom13."
