iso8

Since this morning, the latest version of iOS8 is available for download. It is compatible with iPhones later than 4S, iPad 2 and the fifth generation iPod Touch. Please note that iOS8 is NOT compatible with iPhone 4!

As is the case with iOS updates, it might cause issues with certain applications. So, please ensure that everything is backed up before doing your update. Also note that you will need 6 GB for the update!! I, of course, sincerely hope that Hipstamatic and Oggl will continue to function properly… And what about Disposable? Can those of you, who have already downloaded the update, reassure us?

You will need 6 Go for the update. Before you start deleting everything you’ve ever saved, there’s a very easy solution: Sync your iPhone or iPad to the computer and download iOS 8 directly from there.

Can’t guarantee that everything will work, but – having asked Hipstamatic whether they were good to go (they surely had the Developer releases?) – I updated my iPhone 5S earlier today. Basic Hipstamatic operations seem fine so fat – have opened the app, taken shots, uploaded to FB, and to Instagram. Some bugs and wrinkles may appear, but let’s hope the Haus devs did their work, and their testing. Their communication seems to have slipped back to the old days ways.

D-Series is Done for iOS8. You can open it, but the App crashes when you add a camera. Very sad due to BlacKeys44 being gone for good. At least there is a way to replicate the effect in PhotoGene2 on the iPhone.

And there is no substitute for BlacKeys44 in Hipstamatic Classic?
How can one replicate BlacKeys44 in PhotoGene2?

From what I’ve seen online of BlacKeys44 camera looking at pics for about 5 minutes, To replicate it in Hipstamatic; Maybe something like:
      Watts lens and US1776 film
Watts lens and Rock BW-11 film – this film has the border like Blackeys44
      And try with:
      Ray Mark II lens
      Vincent lens
      Bruno lens
      Wonder lens
Also try the Triple Crown flash with those combos, as that will add the contrast replicating the Blackeys44 camera might need.
