From Ryan Dorshorst to Lilian Douglass
for her Combo #264

Concerning her portfolio: "The soft focus of the Sergio lens adds a sense of melancholy to these serene subjects. When paired with the D-Type film the images feel like they were from a time before - distant memories that are not as clear as they once were. It is a combo that I hadn’t considered before and was happy to see such beautiful results."

Combo #264 (Lilian Douglas)

Lens:  Sergio
Film:  D-Type Plate
Flash: off

"This was my first time in Hawaii, and it was surprising how time seemed to have stopped in some parts of the islands I visited. The countryside was often pastoral and antique, giving the impression of being of a much earlier era.
Sergio and D-type Plate was the ideal combination to capture the beautiful simplicity of land and sea, and to transport the observer with a "remembrance of things past" sentiment... It is remarkable how the process and the resultant pictures augment and amplify the experience, thus making the trip all the more memorable."
